    New for adults: Morning workshop: Faux Finishing Techniques for Adults

    New!  Beginner Sewing
    With the economy in a slump, why not learn to sew your own clothes and accessories! Learning
    to sew is a great skill that lasts a lifetime, while you create fashions on your own! It's however
    you want it to be! In this class, you will learn sewing machine basics, tools of the trade, how to
    read and use a pattern and more. Projects may include sachets, headbands, belts, drawstring
    purse, and a  fleece hat. A portable sewing machine is required. If you have questions about
    acquiring an inexpensive machine, please contact us.
    Ages 8-14, Tuesday, 5:15-6:30pm, Oct. 13-Dec. 1
          Cost: $99, Fabric is included in cost of course.

         Art  Exploration
    Your little ones will explore the adventuresome world of art through the use of many mediums,
    such as acrylic, watercolor, collage,  and pastels. Lots of encouragement, inspiration and
    delicious snacks provided at every class!Sign up today and teach your children the joys of art.
    Ages 6-10, Saturday, 10:30-12pm, Oct. 10-Dec. 5

    Fundamental Drawing Techniques
    Learn how to draw anything! This is a great class to establish rudimentary skills in drawing and
    some painting. Drawing is a wonderful skill to have. Great for beginners and
    intermediate.                                              
    Ages 11-14, Monday, 5:15-6:30 p.m., Oct. 5-Nov. 9
    Cost: $79
    Instructor: Robert Stacke, Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art

         Work with Clay
    Students will learn the basics of hand building techniques as they create work according to an
    inspirational theme designated by the instructor that will set the tone for the semester. Students
    will also explore a variety of decorating and glazing methods.
    Ages 6-10, Saturday, 10:30-12pm, Oct. 17-Dec. 5
    Cost: $89, $10 supply fee

    Tea Pots Galore/Throwing
    Learn how to throw wares we use everyday, like plates, bowls and teapots. Our class will feature
    throwing various styles of teapots of different sizes and shapes. Appliqué work will also be
    introduced. Students who prefer to hand build wares may do so as well.  All work will be
    decorated and
    glazed.                                                                                                                                            
    Ages 11-15, Saturday, 1:30-3pm, Oct. 17-Dec. Dec. 5 or Thursday, Oct. 15-Dec. 3, 4:30-6pm
          Cost: $99, $10 supply fee

Adult Painting
Classes








    Art Club for Adults - Ongoing every Monday, 6-8pm.
    Come and join us in a relaxed, friendly environment to work on your painting in the
    company of fellow painters. There is no formal instructor present; however, once a
    month, a professional instructor will come to critique the work of those who wish and
    to give short informal talks on various art topics.

    Cost: Just $5 per session to help defray upkeep art center costs.
